Zozan Pehlivan

After completing her two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the IOWC (July 2016-2018), Zozan joined the History department at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Currently, she is working on her book manuscript, entitled, A Climate of Violence: Environmental Crises in Late Ottoman Empire. Zozan is a Harry Frank Guggenheim Distinguished Scholar (2020-2021), and she is a McKnight Land-Grant professor for 2021-2023.
